Cool Another one followed me home...

Got this one yesterday! Nothing special... 1984 ATC200M. Original tank was leaking so owner dropped a pretty mint BR tank on it. Back fenders look like crap (beat from hunting and hauling moose out) but has good back rack. Three new tires. Electric start works fine but spring in starter button is messed up (need new one), pulled wires out and it fires up fine when the wires are crossed! New battery, chain is 100% and the chain guard has no dents and all the rubber plugs are there!!!

Front fender is solid, front shocks work nice, engine has no noises, no smoke and drives great with tons of power!!! Idles fine too! Doesn't have that many miles on it really. Bought it from second owner and he and the original owner only used it for the hunting season. He was asking 500 clams, took $400 which is a good price around here!!! This will bring my fleet to 11 I think... Yeah I know...

When it warms up I'll take the pressure washer to it and see how it looks. Wish I could get fenders for this model...

    LOL

send me your electric switch set and starter button with it and I'll rebuild it for you.
$35 for rebuilding it. will look very nice and function like new. I always rebuild the stock ones when I redo a trike just for good measure.

I will dissemble it completely every spring, screw and bearing, clean, re-grease with proper die-electric grease and reassemble. I will clean it completely so if you wanted too later you can re-paint the wording on it. I clean every contact and de-rust the connectors.

Nice man. I just picked up a new one yesterday, pretty similar, a 1984 200s. He was asking 500, I paid 200. He was a college kid who wanted it gone and didn't care about money too much. However, it doesn't run, I assume it's probably just a spring tune-up away, he said it ran when he put it in the shed like 7 years ago. The plastics are beat up just like yours. Doesn't have racks. The forks are not original, they are the pre-83 version without shocks. Might fix that, might not idk. The rims are also mismatched, again dunno if I'll fix it or not. I'm a high school kid who's broke so I can't be throwing a ton of money at it =P. Only number 2 for me. Cool trike bro.Click image for larger version.

Thanks for the offer oscarmayer, I'll keep you in mind when I get to this beast. I've got a few more projects ahead of this one.

Matt, I'm in Thunder Bay, but I used to live in North Bay! I lived on Carriage Cr, up airport hill! Small world!

Short while ago I also picked this one up for $100.00. Awesome score. Some guy was cleaning out his dad's cottage after he passed away and this was in half-ass storage. Aside from some sun damage and sitting damage (seat dried out, seized brakes and some rust on the exhaust, dry rotted tires) it was pretty much mint! Wasn't used much either. Started right up after taking the carb apart. Now that spring is almost here, I really want to get to work on my 86 "R" and get that bad boy running right. Between that, the "Fun-to-Drive" 200x that always needs work and my plane, I'm always broke so I have to choose what order the trikes get fixed up! LOL!!!

Only shot I have of the $100.00 200. It's the 84 on the right of the photo!
