Yeah jb2wheels. I had a buddy that had a trx70 that that wanted them but he basically wanted me to give them to him. I was only asking $30 for the pair and they are brand new. I might bring them to trikefest and sell them there but I'll post them in the classifieds when it gets closer to that time

Battery box from hondaatc70.com is ordered and should be on it way and here sometime. I just need that to start work on the wiring. Grand total spent so far is about $240. I think that's better then what i could pick up around my area for that price and this one is in way better shape!

Made some progress on the 70 tonight. I got the starter mounted, and put the 110cc engine in.
Thats where I ran into a small problem. The nuts on the cylinder head where contacting the fender slightly. So I looked at a few of my other engines that i have and found 2 that where shorter and swapped the bottom 2 that where interfering.
Now Ihave just enough clearance to turn the wheel without hitting the fender.
I'm still waiting for my tank to get painted.

Very nice so far. I wish I could build one for under $300. Keep up the nice work

So I updated the title seeing as I'm using a mix of stock 70/110/125m and 200 parts with a 110 chinese engine. I'm still waiting on the rest of my parts to show up and my tank to get painted. Let me know what you guys think so far!
Oh, and the updated total is about $290 just in parts. I bought some bullet terminals and crimp tool to build the harness but I'm not going to include those in the total.

Shortened my new choke cable to the length that I needed. It's working great. The carb I ordered though didn't end up working with my intake. So, I took a stock keihin carb from a 110 I had laying around and swapped the choke lever for the cable operated one from the new carb. We'll see how good it works once i get the wiring done.
Here's the shortened cable. It doesn't look as good as I would like but what can I say? It's my first attempt at making a shorter cable.
The drill didn't go straight once it hit the cable. But it works
Once i get my intake adapter I'll rotate it to make clearance for my air filter.

I bent the exhaust to fit the 70. It looks pretty good to me other then the kink right before the muffler.
I'm thinking its not too bad for my first time and i didn't have any help.
Plenty of clearance between the fender and exhaust
Rear view with the fenders on
Not too bad for a day's work. Updates soon as more parts are on the way!

After sleeping on it and talking about this morning with some friends at work i realize that i should've filled the pipe with sand and capped it off to prevent the kink. Well you live and learn. Like i said, this is my first attempt at anything like this so I'm researching and learning alot as I go.

Looking good but I'm worried the tank is not going to clear.
There shouldn't be any problem with clearance between the tank and exhaust (I hope not) because while I was bending the exhaust I made sure to keep it as close the the engine as possible keeping in mind that I needed clearance for the starter and rear fenders. Hopefully my battery box and writing terminals come in some so I can get this thing wired up and running! 86125M I hope you didn't jinx me lol
