I haven't been able to get much done on the 70 because I'm still waiting for a few parts to come in. I did get the brakes hooked back up by using a brake lever from a 185s.

The tank still hasn't been painted but I did hook up a tank that I had laying around so I could get some seat time to make any changes that may need to be made before trikefest.
First things first, this thing is insane for what it is. 107 actual cc full auto transmission with no mods other then the exhaust carb and air filter. Its fast as hell and rides really smooth. Only issue at the moment is a lean condition that I need to fix. The carb I'm using is a reproduction 125m carb with a stock main jet of 92. I'm going to step it up between 95 and 100 and go from there. Most importantly is that I have finally gotten to ride this thing and I'm really excited with how it's turning out. I hope to have the tank by next week since the guy that is painting it now knows its a runner and I would really like my tank back lol.

FINALLY SOME PROGRESS ON THE TANK! Its not painted just yet but I finally took the initiative and filled some of the small dents in the tank with fiberglass filler. The guy that was supposed to do the work is on A.T. the next 2 weeks and I go on A.T. the week after he is done then trikefest will be here so this needs be done asap lol. But it feels good to do the work myself. Pics in the morning of how the tank looks as of now. Tomorrow I'll do the final filling and sanding and it should be ready for paint!

I didn't post any pictures since there isn't much interest in this thread. You may just have to come to trikefest to see the finished product

86125m, you called it. I did have a bit of a problem with the tank but it was hitting the carburetor. If the starter had been on the bottom it probably would've been fine but with the carburetor having to be angled to clear the starter it then hit the tank. So my solution was to cut and drill 3 pieces of 3/8th aluminum plate to make a carb spacer to get the top of the carb outside the edge of the tank. It looks like it will work fine and the there is atill enough room to ride it with the carb sticking way out like it does.
This is also a good shot of how good the tank looks after a little bodywork and a paint job lol.
