Well I got the clear coats done. Paint took forever but it was my first time using a spray gun (I've always ned). I'll not be going back as I'm happy with the paint that I laid down. I started assembly tonight. My goal is to wire brush, wash, or polish every piece that is not new before it makes it back onto the wheeler. Tonight's progress included reinstallation of the rear brakes, axel, new bearings, spacers, hubs, and drum cover. Then I moved onto the front forks, ball bearings, and triple Tee. Here are some progress pictures.

I made some more progress yesterday. I cut the Pitster Pro supplied gear shifter in half and welded a section in to lengthen it. I lowered the pegs. I cut off 1.75 inches of the exhaust and reground the pipe to fit the silencer and made a hanger for the wiring harness. Finally I installed the fuel line and filter and did a couple of heat cycles on the new motor. It sounds mean and I'm excited to figure out my braking system so that I can ride it.
Here's a short youtube clip of the start-up.
