I have a 85 125M that a kid wants to come look at Sunday. I need help getting it started.
It has bad rings, or at least it burnt and drained a lot of oil. But ran last time I started it.
I'm getting fuel(brake cleaner, and I'm getting spark, weak spark, but spark.
But it won't start. What am I missing?

The plug wife may have corrosion. You should unscrew it. Clip off 1/2" and rescrew the plug cap back onto the wire.
Bad rings? Top end rebuild?

I'm not doing a top end rebuild, I'm not putting any money into a machine that I'm not going spend money on a machine I'm not getting from money from. I just need it gone.

Got it sparking plenty good, plenty of fuel, and plenty of air, but still wouldn't fire, rings must be that bad.
