'80 honda atc 110 installing toggle switch

Has anyone ever connected the headlights to a toggle switch after the stock switch falls apart. I bought an on/off/on toggle and cannot figure out how to wire it. I know I have the white and blue wire for lights. Yellow is power. Brown goes to taillight. I'm lost. Any help would be great.

I'd use a DPDT (double pole, double throw, on/off/on) switch

This has 6 connectors on the back, split side to side. Basically 2 switches with one lever.

Use one side for the headlights, and the other for tail lights.

Generally, the middle connector is for power in. Split the yellow into 2 wires and connect one to each middle connector.

For the tail lights, split the brown into two wires and connect to the connectors on one "side" above and below the yellow.

For the headlights, put the blue on one of the remaining connectors and the white on the other.

I drew a picture but can't upload it for some reason.

    Try this one

    connect yellow to 3 & 4
    connect brown to 2 & 6
    connect blue to 1
    connect white to 5
