    Any idea what this is?

Any idea what this is made up of? Looks like a DR or DX painted red with a 2 stroke in it and a trailer hitch for good measure. The forks seem to be off a dirt bike and it has a Carabela engine. I'm intrigued...

New quote of the month right there That is a peculiar combo, that's for sure. The rear end is definitely a little suspect

Its a Mexican built Carabela motorcycle from the mid 1970's coverted to a 3 wheeler with some Yamaha tri moto parts.

Carabela used many parts from Villa of Italy and yes they were very fast!

DOHC sent me an email today:

"Its a 1979 Carabela Strada 175, forks and all (with carabela Centauro 360 pipe)
The only ytm parts are the rear fender, seat, and tank. I bet the tripples are billet machined or from a wide cruiser bike, or hpatc or .... lol.
I think they used the front half of the Strada swingarm and welded on a quad style back half, Shocks look like they could also be from the 'Bela."

As far as the price of $6,500MN I would respond: "Ya valio madre guey!"
