ID:	216052Was searching Craigs List for some tires and low and behold look what I found. They were $50 with wheels and are brand new. The craigslist pic was real sketchy but I thought I knew what I was seeing. Sure enough I was right. The gentleman even drove 70 miles one way to deliver them to me. Happy, Happy Friday

No I'm happy for someone if they get a great deal like that. I already got new tires for my bike, but it's not like I'm ever going to race it.

I was just trying to be funny. I'm glad for Keith. That's the kind of deals you're always looking for. The only thing I regret is that I didn't find them before him. lol

They are definitely a "Back in the Day" item. They will look awesome on an "Old School Racer".

There is a TT race in Kansas next month and I am not caving to the kart setup. I still think I can run with them on old school race setup. Even though Missiles were around then I don't remember getting beat by them. So far it is Missiles 2, Keith 0. Fast Eddie has whipped me both times. Third times a CHARM

I'm with you Keith. Don't cave to the cart set up! Beat 'em with the Old School set up.

You guys don't realize how nice the kart tires are. They don't work everywhere but I can just change hubs and put my bugger tires on.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but Steve Man, is there a set of kart hubs that bolts directly on your R axle? I know some of the guys like BKM made their own kart hubs. I'm looking for a bolt on setup.

Yes and no. Missile Engineering used to make adapters for kart wheels. They have a different bolt pattern than the current kart wheels. No you can't buy any adapters. Fasteddie figured out how to put a kart axle in a stock carrier. Putting a kart axle in an R is very easy. I found hubs that go on the kart axle to run douglas wheels with Honda or Yamaha bolt pattern.

Keith very cool find. I know those are the tires you have been looking for.
