    I have been riding it for almost 4 years now and no problems. My welds were not pretty but they are strong. Plus I think the steel I added more than made up for what I removed. I will post some current photos if anyone is interested. I moved the battery to a different location and had my original rear shock rebuilt.
    The lifan is available if anyone is interested, I should post it in classifieds I suppose.

    You need a full length gusset on that frame. Its going to crank under you cut out.
