I know what you don't want to do and that is run the engine ahead of the swing arm pivot, that's a no, no.

When are you going to start a thread on that bad boy?

I have the '86 200x swinger with the adjustable bearing carrier so I should be able to use that to tension it, Hopefully...

The swinger that I have looks very similar to the one in the pic. I think some of the machining should be similar. I definitely want on of those sleeve reducers for my build.

I will start a thread soon. Been super busy tying up loose ends. Not to mention that we just brought our 4th daughter into this world last week. Baby daddy duties are running quadruple WOT!!!!

Sorry, man it slipped my mind that you had a 1986, I just had Mike's build on my mind at the time.

I will make you one if you give me the specs, I will even make it out of bronze or the material of your choice, but I have many sizes of Delrin on hand that I buy 4ft. sticks so you would owe me like 14 cents in materials, I also have mild steel or billet aluminum if you prefer.

I will get some specs this weekend. I imagine delrin would be fine, the bolt shouldn't move much in the sleeve so whatever is the cheapest is fine with me.

I'm not gonna burglarize Mike's thread any more. Maybe I will start my own soon.

    Thanks Mil

Cool, I can make it two pieces, if you want so you don't have to press it out if you need to split the cases that's what Mike requested, but he can grenade any lower end...LOL!

I would go with one piece, but I have a press and a light left foot.

Hey, Mike it's been 2 weeks, so here is a video for inspiration-

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3GK5lCyoIA8

125 takes on 250F's &450F's and wins, the 125 is off on the set-up too (Needle is one step to fat, main is one size to rich and it needs one tooth on the rear cog) but, it is box stock.

Pretend it has one extra wheel..LOL

only upgrade I would consider is a Wiseco or Henson.

Forgot to mention we are now going with a custom Swinger for "special" reasons that will be divulged later. but trust me when I say, it is totally Worth it!!!

The best clutch for a CR125 is OEM fibers & OEM springs with Barnett steel disc's, 100% synthetic Type "F" ATF changed every weekend for a pro, every 5 rides for riders.

I have tested every possible combo and this is by far the best, never use heavier springs in this engine.
