Another Hair brain 200MX idea... (Please help me stop!)

Well I am in deep yogart....
    I hve lets see
    Baja Trike
    350X build to sell Trike
    200MX suspension mod

Now the 200MX is getting a complete redo.....

    I just got a 1983 CR125R bike.
The engine and parts of it will be going onto the ATC200MX trike with the ATC350x suspension installed!
Too many dang projects!!!! But will be finishing the 200MX before end of June.

UGH!!! will my ideas ever stop!
BTW the cr125 idea is courtesy of Onformula1. (He gave me the idea and I ran with it. Sometimes I'm just too stupid for my own good.) Dang you Onformula!!!!!! LOL

    Photos and info will follow...

no clue. but it will fit int he 200X frame and weight less than the R. it stock has the same HP as the 250r. with a few tweaks no porting it will put down over 40hp. i say it could give the 250r on a mx track a run for it's $.

    thanks!
yea we figure with the smaller engine and loosing some of the other stuff, we will loose about 20 or so lbs. hoping for maybe 30 if we work at it some.
But we are also adding by moving to the 350X swinger and fork/triple setup.

Keep in mind Mike it's a- 1993 CR125R bike, not a 1983, typo I think, but no the less there's a big HP and reliability difference in those 10 years.

With the extensive list of mods you are doing I think you can shed 30lbs. and be at 253lbs. dry

You can remove a lot of stuff for MX!

2015 type suspension, brakes and motor in that little chassis is going to be fun!, bring on the quads!

Note- I still have all the FIM 125 GP engine specs if you need a bit more power.

Your going to be the Johnny O'Mara of 3 wheelers.

If you want a top end boost, I have a 91 cylinder off a parts bike Ill let go real cheap. It doesn't look bad, but I don't have a piston for it and the head is trashed. There's also a bolt broken off in the powervalve cover, but it shouldn't be hard to get extracted.
I raced a 91 CR125 back in 04 and gave up nothing on the starts to other 125s, even those nasty fast KTMs. It may not have been the GP porting that OF1 has, but it was a Pro Circuit built motor

Does he have a thread? I didn't see one. He has an interested buyer. I just don't have the time for my 350x build

Not yet, he is still going through boxes and lining everything up and I am going to build a trick shock for it and machine a few pieces it's missing.

This will be a highend 350X, PM him for info if you like.
