    Question 1990 Yamaha RT100 throttle body stuck open in carb?

    Hey guys. Just picked up a '90 Yamaha RT100. All it needed was a carb cleaning and it runs. However, it idles super high. Inside the carb, the throttle is stuck up high, so its wide open and running as if I had the throttle maxed out. If I shifted it it would probably wheelie and take off across the yard. Anyone know how to fix this? Do I need a new throttle cable? If it matters at all it has a Chinese carb on it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

    when you say the throttle is stuck open do you mean the slide is stuck open and can't move?
