Gusset time, the stock 350X frame weighs 25 lbs. I will probably add 10lbs, maybe 15. I will weigh it afterwards. Don't worry we are going to take a lot of weight off in other areas. I am hoping we will be close to the stock weight full blown desert/BAJA race ready....Hopefully less!

Here is most of them, I have a few more in the works.

And some other items for gussets and spacers, ETC.

    I do like the Supertrapps.

I like them, too. Have three in the family. Always a great pipe. When I got mine it had 12 discs. I repacked it, left the 12 in there, and when I fired up the engine for the first time I was about deaf. Whole lot louder then the IDS2 on my Fourtrax 300 with all the discs in it.

I am thinking a Supertrapp in a 100-1000 miles race will be very hard on the ears, the newer KTM 450's have some pretty nice mufflers with spark arrestors that can be had on EBAY pretty cheap, I have looked into it and they will work, but they have not been finalized.

They will have a bigger header that Mike spec'd out in his tread. It's a big gun.

This trike was pretty dirty and although the Pinalen cleaner I was using was working, I found this ZEP Purple cleaner it even has a picture of a chain on the bottle.

$12 bucks a gallon and it works great! 20oz per one gallon of water, watch your hands or wear gloves it's nasty stuff.

It says not to use it on aluminum, but I tried it and had no problems, but I had to wash off a whitish film on some parts with dish soap.

No, I just though it might come in handy for something, plus filler for the box. LOL

Yeah I've had to do demo work on some oilfield equipment a time or 2. Not really comfortable, especially in the bayou wetlands where it's 100% humidity. They really don't pay me enough!!! Just enough to keep me coming back!!!!

350X Swingarm Plus 3", Chromoly steel, TIG welded, Banshee skid plate mounts, 3-way adjustable shock mounts, center shock mount removed, 350X brake mount removed, 1986 250R brake pin added, 1986 250R carrier set-up.

The skid Plate will be made out 1/4" plate.

We were going to build our own swing arms, but we factored the time, steel, consumables and the materials for a jig and this is the way to go! We have plenty on our plates with the rest of the builds.
