    Wanted to show my "TURD " what another member called it when i bought it a few months ago. This is how it looks now

    Hey, a turd can be polished... Mythbusters proved that, and now you have too!

    I don't recall seeing it when it was called a turd, but it looks like it is coming along quite nicely to my eye at this point.

    I believe my thread was just called 86 tecate you can see how it looked when i got it, and see the turd comment. Thanks for the good compliments

    Well, it is certainly better to restore a turd to it's former glory than let it find it's final resting place at the scrap yard!!

    Some projects we take on are undoubtedly "money pits"... But most of us don't do this as a monetary investment. It is an investment of work, money, and time with the hopes of a healthy return of satisfaction of a job well done when it's ready to ride.
