Tecate Stock exhaust pipe question! Help!!

Just got my stock Tecate pipe ceramic coated and went to put it on and realized that no after market silencer I have will now fit on it, a little background here, the pipe I had on it was a little tweaked in a few areas so I bought a very nice stock one, when I went to put my Answer silencer on it didn't even come close to fitting, the end of my stock exhaust seems to stick out away from the frame toward the end of the pipe, is this normal? Is this how the stock tecate pipe should be?? I don't have a stock Tecate silencer so I'm not sure if a stock one would fit on it or not, I', totally confused and a little frustrated, can anyone take apic of there stock exhaust with the seat off so I can look at a stock one or can anyone please chime in and let me know what's going on... also, does anyone know of an after market silencer that will hook up to a stock pipe without any modification, thank you guys..

I don't know if mine would help you I've got a modded kx250 pipe with the stock silencer. It sits kinda goofy.

    .
yes, the part that connects to the pipe comes off the silencer at around a 15 degree angle.

Any idea if there is any aftermarket silencer that mounts up to a stock tecate pipe??

DG is the only one I can think of that still makes an aftermarket silencer. I've seen quite a few aftermarket ones over the years but they are somewhat scarce. You can always buy that rusty one on eBay and patch it up.

My buddy ran a DG Type II silencer on his stock '87 Tecate pipe, and it fit & lined up properly with no mods.

According to the silencer description in your link, that is a Type II silencer.

The DG silencers I have do not fit up. Because the end of the silencer isn't the same diameter as the headpipe, i am using a piece of rubber hose to connect them to the pipe. There are no numbers to identify the silencer, just a DG plate rivited to the side of it.
