those spectators picked a rather brave place to stand

route of the fuel line is interesting, side effect of having the carb mounted by your foot i guess

Are the rear fenders like the 82's, or are they 83'-84' like I make?

@Mickey - It use a 81/82 style fender, the one on it is a Sundahl racing products fiberglass deck.

@onformula1 - Kelvin was still working out how he was gonna mount a caliper to the Simons forks as they had no lugs for anything but drum brakes and the 495 was our first Franks bike so it was a bit of a work in progress at first.

Couple shots of the Rotax with its plastic and stuff on. Finally have a replacement front fender that without the help of the awesome atc007 here on the forums i would likely never got. Thank you Bill for all your help.

    John, that confirms my feeling.

    Eye to eye-
    With spacer 15 3/4"

    No spacer 17"

So, the spacer needs to be shortened to be correct at 16 1/2"

So, you can keep this piece along with the parts we are not using, I am going to machine a new spacer and take care of the three issues this one has. I will post the issues from my phone in a minute.

The ID of this spacer is recessed on the top side, so it "Mushroom out"

The bottom side is bigger than the top out bumper, so it hits the seal head case.

It is also very loose on the shaft, ID id too big.

How does that angle look for the reservoir line?

@OZQUAD44 - It still needs the engine sorted out by someone with more skill than myself and the correct tools but once that is done maybe ill call my friend Allen Knowles about getting a write up on the Rotax. He knows all the magazine guys and the have always bent over backwards for him when he asks a favor.
