    What is it

Here's some not so good pics of something monstrous and unusual that I came across today thought maybe someone could help identify. The front fender is identical to my hustler tri cart but motor is at a whole different angleClick image for larger version.

It looks like an old oilfield tool with forks on it. I really don't have a clue.

    .
The engine is an old Tecumseh single cylinder electric start that's probably in the 7 hp range.

The thing attached to it with the belt looks like it might be a a constant velocity drive that increases the speed of the top drive pulley above that of the engine speed the faster the engine goes . . it might also just be a clutch or engagement device that might be operated by the pedal on the left.

Nice find there Dan. You have a parts machine of a Tricart Hustler. Your engine is in a different angle than this?

    Here are some reference pics...

Supposed to pick it up next time out there. Some how think finding a rear axle for this might prove to be an effort in futility. Jmoozy your right about some oilfield stuff next to it just not a part of this thing. It is at my wife's boss's yard. They rebuild, rent fracture valves, and cement heads as well as other machine shop stuff
