$600 84 250r find

Well I happened across a pretty good looking 84 250r not so locally. I don't know much about it other than it does not run. The guy I'm buying it from says he rode it about a year ago before an accident at work. The pictures he sent me show a clean bike with the exhaust on the ground (not sure why.) It also comes with another air cooled 250r engine minus the piston and rings. Only thing is, I'm having to drive 2 and a half hours out to get it, either way it's a done deal, I'm picking it up tomorrow afternoon. What do you guys think?

That is a real nice example of a well kept 1984 250R. Congrats !

That trike would go for 1500 in washington state all day. Killer deal man.

Thanks guys. Here's a few more misc pictures. First off the top end has already been pulled and put into a nice little snap on bag, what a bonus, haha. There is a few bolts that aren't attached to anything under the rear fender on the left side of the trike. The air scoops are cracked and there is a dent in the right side of the tank . The bars look bent and the killswitch is warped and broken. Also something on the swingarm is snapped off. So there is alot of work to be done for sure, but I still feel like I got a good price. Also it was a fun day spent going halfway across Oklahoma with my grandfather.
