    Will this fit on a 86 250r

Have a look and tell me what you think, I need a new axle. I know the rear ends are not the same and wonder if this will work or is there a problem with the hub location.

the 85 and 86 sprocket mounts on the opposite side of the hub. you would have to change the hub or use a 85 carrier, swinger, and calipor mount

IT WILL WORK IN ANY YEAR TRX OR ATC,,,, i have a 88 trx 250r axle in my 85 carrier fits like it was made for it,,,, the sprocket is different but it still lines up ,,,, the advantage is the trx axle is noticeablly larger in diameter out at the ends by the splines ,,,

now now... no need for yelling.............. he didnt ask if a 86 and up will fit an 85.........the 86 carrier sticks out past the swinger futher than the 85 carrier so the sprocket hits it, BECAUSE of the different sprocket mounting............. I tried it on my 86 TRX

Ive got a stock one from an 86TRX250R on ebay, unless your trying to find an aftermarket one. The aftermarket ones are stronger, but they tend to break instead of bending. Ive never bent a stock one, myself.
