Your forgetting the rider memo. "Come rain, snow or sun. I will always ride.. "
Well maybe it's not a thing but it could be a triker saying

Saying "it's the trikes fault" is like saying "guns kill people"
don't poke the bear... you'll get banned
Small update, removed the carb to find that the overflow stem inside the bowl was clipped and pinched by the PO in a halfhearted attempt at redneck carb tuning. Gotta get a new bowl and adjust the float height. The sad thing is that I've taken this carb apart and assembled it probably 10 times in the last year and never noticed it. Oh well...
Other than that, she's almost ready for war. Both brakes are bled and seem to be solid. Hoping to do wheelies really soon.

could you not heat the bowl up, pull the brass tubing out hot and install a new one home made?

I got a PE model float bowl from a friend locally and installed it last night. Also installed carbon tech high tensity reeds. She fired on the second kick and sounded really mean. Hoping to take it for a spin this evening.

I'm not worried about it. I just want good conditions when I go ride it. I'm pretty confident that I've got the prior issue sorted out. When I put the new bowl on I noticed that the float swivel pin was actually a finishing nail with the tip cut down. The head of the nail seemed to be binding on the float and causing problems. So it also has a new pin.
