I'm very impressed! You have this down pat!!
FIRST RIDE REPORT !
Finally got the 450 out for the first real ride. The power of these engines makes these a blast to ride and it's available all through the RPM range. It took a little getting use to the physical size of the trike, they are a bit longer and taller than a 250R or a 350x but very comfortable. The suspension is a big difference from my old trikes- there is a LOT of it and it's plush. A few things I'll be changing are ditching the twist throttle and getting bigger foot pegs. I was going to stay with the dirt bike pegs but quickly found out I needed bigger ones for sure. The twist throttle got me in trouble more than a few times on some off camber bumps so I will be switching to the thumb. Also it needs more tire in the rear to keep it hooked up. All in All I'm pretty happy with it.

If this is the wrong place to post this question I'm sorry, just not sure where to post that it would get answered. Maybe I've missed something, but I haven't seen any Honda's done in a while. How much more difficult are they? And do you know of any threads done recently?

Hi kasey, quick question.. Do you keep the stock rake angle of the bike frame at the triple? If no, do you modify the frame to the desired angle or build the triple with an angle in them
I know this question was for Kasey but I thought I could give a little insight on what I did. On the steel frame bike the oil is in the frame so cutting it to change the rake was not what I wanted to deal with. I built the triples to lessen up the "Trail" on the steering geometry. Then I played with the rear shock mount position to bring the rear up, taking a few degrees of rake out of the front end.

The 426 are a lot cheaper second hand, did they come with an electric leg?
Kasey
Would you consider any particular year/model more suited to the conversion, or give a better result?
