    Honda 350x stem bearings

I'm in the midst of restoring my 1985 250sx. I've been collecting parts for a couple of years, just quit smoking 2 weeks ago after 10 years, and desperately need some activity to fill my time with while I get over quitting, . I'm using 350x front forks and need some advice on bearings. Should I purchase the new style of tapered sealed roller bearings or get my hands on some old roller balls from eBay? Looks like the install on new style bearings is a bit of a bear.

Also, how many loose bearings should there be for each the bottom and the top if I do go that route?

Just get the tapered ones, you just put in the new races and that's about it.

I'm replacing mine with the tapered ones, seems like the best way to go.
