Are there any parameters for setting sag on a 350x? I know with bikes, it's usually about 4'' or 100mm + - Thanks, Dave

I Guess I'm on my own with this one, I don't have the owners manual and From what I understand, the info regarding compression and preload are in there. I'll just keep messing around with it.

I set mine by feel and guessing. Mostly guessing since I'm huge and the spring is wimpy I maxed the preload with the shock off the trilke. It actually works better than I thought.
Not what you're looking for I know...
Thanks, for the input, I appreciate it,.... I also run hare scrambles every now and then on a bike and I know the importance of suspension in the woods, I'm 210 and would like to get the most out of my trike's rear end, (always liked the Honda suspension) BTW, compression set middle of the road and rebound set on #4, I haven't played with the spring yet, That's why I was curious about sag parameters...I do, however, have normal static sag...Dave

You can download both the service and owners manual from this site. It's run by a member here so it's safe.

Hey- I'm looking for the same info on suspension sag. The link above no longer works. Anyone know the sag settings or where I can download the owners manual? I only have the service manual and it says to look in the owners manual. Go figure. Thanks guys!

There are various rules of thumb about sag. The one I like to use is to simply set it to about 1/3 of your suspension travel. (I'm refering to the sag of you sitting on the machine ready to ride).
So to measure and set it, you first have to figure out your suspension travel. Pick a reference point on the machine (rear grab bar, for example) and lift the suspension fully up and get a measurement to the floor. Then, you need to find that measurement again with suspension fully compressed. I've used a ratchet strap for this before (can't remember what you get on a 350x). So this lets you know what your total suspension travel is. With you sitting on the machine ready to ride (with all gear you'd normally use) you want the suspension about 1/3 way down in its travel.
So to use numbers just as an example, if your reference measurement is 36" with suspension all the way up, and 24" all the way down, you've got 12" of total travel (36-24). You want to be 1/3 down in your travel, so 4" down from the top. With you on the machine, set the preload adjusters so that your measurement is 32" (36-4).
Make sense?
There are some slightly more complicated processes to help eliminate the measurement error due to friction, but that's getting pretty picky... I think you'll get in the ballpark with this process.

Makes sense. I checked in the manual and the rear suspension travel is 7.6 in. 1/3rd of 7.6 is just about 2.5 so I adjusted the sag to 2.5 in. Thank you.
