    New to me PK 70.

Made a road trip to Kansas City to pick up this little guy. PK suspension 70. Needs a front axle made, I should have that made this week. It runs but not that great, I'll work on that when I can ride it or just push it outside easier!

I've been looking for one for a loooooooong time. I stumbled upon this and while the timing for me was wrong (going to have to sell something, and I'm not a fan if selling.) the price wasn't bad and I knew I'd be kicking my self if I didn't buy it. Very happy with my purchase so far.

Has some numbers crudely scribed into subframe, not sure if that's factory or what. Also it looks to have had a label on the neck, kinda looks like something an auction would use or a bike shop to keep stuff inventoried. Just things I have noticed while looking at it. Going to clean up the supertrapp tn and paint it tmrw.

Got the axle turned tonight, painted the exhaust and fiddled with some other stuff. I'll post pics of the new and improved axle in the morning!

PK used to make some good stuff. Their 200X pipe was one of the best out there.

Turned a new front axle and spacers the other night, wire wheeled and painted the pipe. Its a super trapp but the muffler is welded to the head pipe, kinda crappy but the pipe is beat up anyways. Fits and works fine for now and doesn't leak, plus can't see the welded joint with the plastic on!

Still wouldn't run very good, checked the float height, it's high but has a plastic float (didn't want to wreck it and be sol.) so I didn't adjust it. Pilot jet was RUSTED SHUT. swapped it out and she runs quite well now!

Has a pep shock on it with a 180 lb spring, need to redo the forks. They are beat! One has some fairly heavy pitting on the lower tube however. Over all I'm Happy happy. Good couple days in the shop!

Didn't they also make BMX bikes? My son used to race a PK Ripper about 22 years ago.

What diameter are the fork tubes on that?

Yea, same company that made the ripper bmx bike! Just a guess since I haven't measured the tubes, I would say around 27mm.
