    200x motor work

    Hi I have a 84 200x motor that needs the bottom end rebuilt was wondering if anyone knew where a good place was to take it to have done for a reasonable price or of anyone has a good spare motor laying around for a decent price let me know thanks in advance

    Need bottom end rebuilt grinds in 2nda gear and losing 3rd and doesn't shift into 5th just goes to 4th

    Ahhh transmission trashed! You might be better off finding a complete engine.

    Likely bent shift forks. Needs to be cracked open and determine the cause of the grinding. Not a terrible job.

    I would do that but I've been working alot lately but if I get time i'll tear it apart I just thought it be easier for a shop to fix it since im kinda new to the 3 wheelers

    A shop these days wont help much unless there is a mechanic working in their from the good old days. Most shops in my area won't touch them. If you need someone too look at it I can take a look or the best 200x guy is Mike Baker (shortline10)
