Christmas ATC70 MINT with papers value

Last night I picked up a MINT ( I know that means nothing without pics ) atc70 1983 Christmas blue with original docs. One owner and he has had it for 33 years. This is the cleanest Christmas 70 I have seen unrestored untouched mint. The real deal. I have seen a bunch of value questions on all kinds of trikes but how much realisticaly value on one of these. Tank is mint no rust and near perfect paint. Front fender looks new and the rears have only slight rubbing on outside edge where tires rubbed ever so slightly. I would say 9.5 out of 10 and I have looked at tons of pics of these and even Tmas bike may not be as clean as this one. I will try and post pics tonight, just looking for opinions.

Nice score and values very but priceless to keep. Have 2 myself and don't ever plan to sell. Please do post pic's and a close up of the rear fender decal as I need to copy an original design to replace my missing decals.

No rear decal, I just ordered one from Peewee. May not put on because bike is still original but good to have.

Sorry to hear no decal, I'm still looking for an original as I believe the aftermarket reprints are a little different. Still you have a great score.

At the risk of sounding like a real ass... No "mint" bike has complete decals missing. You have a nice score I'm sure. I will be watching,as I am truly puzzled!
Please help those who cannot help themselves.

ALWAYS buying Museum quality machines,3 and 4 wheels. And any and ALL ,NOS parts,EVERY brand.

I am turning my PM's Off,my Email is billsracing@hotmail.com,put 3WW in the subject. Thanx!

Yes I realize mint is a relative term. I will post pics after work. I am guessing the reason there are no original rear decals is they were the first to give out. Mint is probably not the best choice of words but of all the christmas 70's I have seen or seen pics of, this is the best untouched not "cleaned up" bike I have seen. Even seat is perfect. There is slight rust on exhaust, very minor tweaks on foot guards and rubs on rear fender and missing rear sticker but still very very clean. You are correct about "Mint" though I guess Mint would be one bought and sealed in glass with no fluids.

I was a bit puzzled also as I thought all these were given away and this guy says he bought it. The date of manufacture on trike shows 11/82 but model 83. The certificate of origin shows the date 2/83 like the dealership signed lean release in february?

Was it even possible to purchase a blue 70 in 83?

I am mostly looking for opinions on value. I know it's worth what one will pay but I have many other atc70's and a few are 73 and 74 but I have never paid more than 300 bucks for one. When I saw this it was a good bit more but I don't see many real Christmas 70's and the condition impressed me. Runs flawless and quiet and shifts smooth.

Came with certificate of origin and guy said he bought it? I didn't know you could purchase? I thought they were given away in a drawing each dealership held?

    That's a sweet little 70. Nice score.

As for value its hard to say. I know that generation of 70 around here is a hot item and sell for $400-$800 with parts missing. Add to that, I would not want to ever sell that particular specimen. All that being said I don't see why someone wouldn't pay $1500 or more even. I'm probably underestimating its value.
