So you master link lodged into the case and it now leaks ok...yay cool I'm the winner

Was out last year for spin and chain came off in the road... I looked for a 1/2 mile for the master link....Never found anything .. Now went to install the chain and I couldn't get it around the front sprocket...And now you know the rest of the story !

My wife's CL350 looks almost the same under the cover, only the neutral switch looks different. Last season her neutral light stopped working, figured it was the bulb. When I pulled that cover this winter to change the clutch pushrod seal, the bolt and insulator bushing were both sitting in there, just like your master link! Guess that's where all the missing pieces like to hang out.

Old racer trick was to cut out a small piece of coffee can thin metal and carefully slip it just behind clip only and wrap it and tuck it around clip snug so clip has less chance of expanding and coming off.
