Looking for help find Hondaline Speedo cable for 1987 Honda 250SX

Looking for help finding the correct speedometer cable for my 1987 Honda 250SX. I everything but the cable. Figured it would be easier to ask on here and get it right the first time.

If anyone knows where to buy from, the part number that would be great. Thanks

Mostly all of the Honda speedometer cables are the same with respect to the ends and how they connect. It is just the length that differs.
If I remember correctly, the cable for the 250sx is about 30 inches.
Try part number 44830-GF4-000 which is still available from Honda. This one is 29.5".

Before you order it, just measure from the bottom of the speedo head to the gearbox on the fork and add 3-4" of slack to get an approximation of what length you need.
The 200x comes with 31" cables, but I use 29" cables because they don't stick out as much from the fork.

Update: Part number 44830-GF4-000 does not fit. The end that goes into the gearbox mounts a different way. It can be made to work with some modification, but not ideal. Most of the Honda cables that are still available that would fit on both ends are too long for the ATC's. Motion Pro can make custom length cables, so that may be an option.

I have used a ct110 cable on my 250es, it is a little long but works well, may be even better on a 250sx if it has a taller stature.
