    1986 Honda 200X almost Virgin!!!!

Had a great opportunity come my way and was able to get a beautiful all original 86 200X. I am the third owner and this bike has seen VERY little use. EVERYTHING on this bike is original from the dealer in 86 except the chain, gas in the tank, and air in the tires!!! The plastic has NO cracks, the origional OHATSU H- Tracks are in great shape with no dry rot or cracking (going to get new rims and tires for riding and save these.... cant bring myself to ride on them). Has the tool kit, manual, tire gauge, all the stickers, little rubber pad for the kickstart and rear shock...rubber peices on carrier, NO rust in tank..none nada zip!!! Header pipe isnt even rusted!!!! all the stuff thats usually missing is here. Got it from a collector and this was one of the "worst" ones in the collection. Great guy to deal with. I havent had a chance to clean it up yet... its as is ...only lightly washed to get literal barn dust off since 1992. This one will be going to my grave with me and my 89 Pilot!!!! Just wanted to post some pics to show they are still out there.... $1500.

I never said I wasnt going to ride it, Thats the whole reason I bought it was to ride it, I'm just going to swap out the origional tires and rims as not to ruin them.... they are nice OEM's. The bike rides like a dream and will get more use from me than it has in the last 30 years!!! I dont know as though I will ride the "piss" out of it.... but I WILL enjoy it!

    Dude.

For the love of god you should only display that bike. Came all this way through space and time and now you're going to destroy all of that.

    Absolutely should not ride it.

Life goes on. It's just a three wheeler. In 100 years they'll all be gone, and so will we. Enjoy them while you can.

So funny seeing the range of opinions on here from "its junk" and put a BS yamaha motor in it all the way to put in a museum. It is a really clean complete origional...museum quality...no... but the nicest one I will ever have for my wallet for sure.
Glad I found it, Glad its in my garage, I will ride it and have fun with it...I am almost 40, I dont do mudding or jumps or any of that... I have 2 small kids who ride a TRX 90. a TRX 70 and they share an ATC70. Just going to be a nice trail / field cruiser. I had other bike I kept as show queens and sold off and regreted not riding and enjoying them... All I did was keep them nice for someone else to enjoy.... Life is short, enjoy each day!

Here is a pic of my Pilot since someone asked and my son on the 70 I restored for him and my daughter...

They sell them in D.C. They taste a lot like $10 burgers, but the fries aren't included.
