    Boxed 86 250r.

So cool first time I've seen a crated R. Not much to look at though. I noticed the model is ATC250RG. The 87 is ATC250RH. Just something cool I've never noticed.

There was a thread a while back when they listed it on eBay. I believe it got in the $30k's and didn't meet reserve.

There is also pictures of a crated 86 tri z if you look. Not sure if they ever assembled that one or not yet. I just seen it pop back up on Facebook the other day.

Yes it was on EBAY a few years back. It hit the reserve and kept going to $60K then went back down the $30's due to some shady Ebay buyer, then sold in the upper $30's as I recall.

Not to stir the pot, but I think Buster Brown's box was a little less intact. Where did the picture come from?

I think that's the "good side". The other side of the box is pretty wrecked.

Anyone toughting assembly should be banished to a far away land where they can never touch another trike. Because that mentality is what will eventually be the demise of any good mint examples we have left. Ride the riders, show the important ones.

I know the guy that was going to pay the 40k for it. He said the seller won't sell it to him. He's a huge trike collector he has a couple NOS never started 86/87 T3s, a NOS 350x, and NOS 250r!! He has a super-4 tiger and some other tiger trikes. Seems like a nice guy. He's selling me plastics for my 84 T3 for CHEAP. $100 for a front fender and tank!

The things I would do to get my hands on one of these. I saw a mint condition 86 on craigslist in my area a few months ago. Had a west coast swingarm, fmf exhaust system, and looked CLEAN. The guy said it ran great but he wanted $5500 for it and I didn't have that much to spend on a trike. It sold quick. Hoping to find a less expensive 250R in the next few years.
