Seems like this hole should go all the way through but it doesn't. Like an inch in on each side the passage is blocked. Doesn't look like a broken bolt in there-it's a clean surface. Please look where I've got the bolt sticking out. I was using it to tap on. I don't have the rest of the quad, just this engine. It's a 2006 400ex so it does have reverse. When I look at the diagrams it seems a bolt would go right through. Just seems odd that the passage is blocked by approximately the same distance in on each side and the surface is clean. Please take a look at the pics and tell me if it's supposed to go all the way through or not. If not then what is the point of this hole?
