Looks nice but I’ve ridden both and the 400 doesn’t seem to have as much torque or low end power to me

400 can be hopped up to give more snap. I know a lot of people want to compare them but honestly I dont think it was built (400) to compare towards the 350. It was merely a new atv try and open people's eyes to an easy to ride sporty machine.
I've riden stock 350x to built 350x. A stock one is farm from an arm wrenching power house. Its oldschool honda tractor like power. I'd rather press the e start button on the trail over kicking and trying to find a flat spot in rocks to balance. I road a stock 86 all day few months ago after seeing a younger kid not know how to keep it running or start it. It felt like a little toy to me over 700s that I ride normally.
Fun machine however.

Do you still have any of these left over? I know it's been a long time but I'd definitely be interested in getting one!Thanks. I actually made a bunch recently. They're much thicker than the first ones, these are 18 gauge. Also made some 200x ones. I sold tge m all to 1 guy wholesale. I believe he'll resell them on Facebook. Or I could give you one as a partial trade (very partial) for one of your 200x headlight shells!

Hey matt love the trike you built and i know this is a older thread but i am doing this exact transplant would you have the motor mounts for sale still???? thank you Mark!Here are the rest of the mounts I made. The 2 rear ones I cut out, ground them to shape, re-designed the drawing, and recut them. All of the mounts are 5mm thick stainless steel. Way overkill compared to the OEM plates but I don't mind.
By the way if for some reason someone wants the drawings for these mounts, I'd be willing to share them.
