    Tecate 3 KX60

Came across this a KX60 conversion that looks just like this, minus motor; same rear brake set up, graphics, footpegs and wheels, anybody know about these?

I remember seeing small KX conversions in an old Dirt Wheels magazine. I'm not sure if they were one-offs or some company was making them. I'll have to look. A rare find either way.

That photo is a Tricky Dick conversion. They made very few of these, less than 5 I believe. Did you find this in Glamis? There was a similar one there a couple months ago, the guy ended up keeping it. I'm intersted in buying it if it's for sale.

Actually in Oregon via Nevada. I can't remember a whole lot about it but fiberglass rear fenders, A+ or something like that triple clamps and decals on rear fenders. What caught my eye was the rear brake setup where they added the disk, rear wheels and foot pegs extensions just like the bike in the photo.

A+ was a company that made small suspended trikes. Very similar to the tricky dick conversion, and also very sought after.

I can remember being at the Loretta Lynn's MX Nation in 1985 and there were hundreds of 60 & 80 conversions running. They were so cool to watch. Some of those kids could haul @$$. You had some aftermarket conversions and alot more were home build in garages.
Great find none the less. If you end up with it definitely post pic's!

MIK6 has an 80 conversion. Wickedly fun little trike! I believe his is a home built and it's nicely done.

He would be a good one to talk to if you are looking to build your own.

What a great image in time this reminds me of, whole thread. Footage of that "hundreds of mini conversions" couldn't be beat.
