i used Rust-Oleum engine enamel in gloss black with their high temp clear coat. i think it turned out very well. its easy to chip though, which is annoying. Duplicolor has an engine enamel with ceramic in it. it also comes in gloss black. im interested in trying that on my next project.

Semi gloss black powdercoat would be the crack. The paint just doesn't hold up as well in my experience, unless it is not going to be ridden m, then you would be ok.

I use the medium gloss black john deere paint it looks great and if you get engine good and clean ive never had any troubke with it chipping. I dont think the 350x was really a high gloss black more a medium to satin gloss
