    My 185s rebuild

So my dad bought this honda 185s in 81 a few short years later I was born!
The story behind it is sometime in the mid 80s it was stolen from my parents along with a lil 110 they bought at the same time. Insurance payed them out on the atc's, then about a year later they receive a call from the local police department impound lot saying they have an atc down there that says it belongs to them. My dad explained he had already been paid out for it and didnt know what to tell them. The officer said well if you want it come pick it up otherwise i don't know where its going to end up. Not one to look a gift horse in the mouth it was picked up and taken home. Later was sold to my grandpa who didn't know how to work on it and stored it in the back of his upholstry shop.

In comes a 16 year old me with a fresh fast food job and 300 bucks to buy it off my grandpa. Got it running did some upgrades and beat the crap out of it. Then it sat again on the side of my moms house for about 15 years. Grown with a house of my own and kids figured it would be a fun project. Its not perfect but is a blast and will be my kids soon enough. Thing climbs like a damn billy goat!

If your wondering i had to leave the gas tank original just for nostalgia sake. Being able to tell the kids some of the dents are from grandpas head and some of the scrapes are from dads knees is worth it
