So lets see if i got this , remove my 185 stem carefully remove stem from 250r put my adapter in wee
Ld bottom like original drill holes in 185 stem to secure to adapter and basically done .right ? Easy thanks ol deuce
So the oeiginal height of stem stays the same. bearings go on just like stock and the upper adjusting nut is shortened because the first gen r clamp is thicker right. I can still use the upper seal on adjusting nut too?
You can play with the stem height before welding to the lower clamp and also before ya plug weld the stem to the adapter !!!
DO the Best With What you got !

you also can take some of thight away from the stem by cutting the bottom of the stem @ the adapter will hold the bearing race !!!!!!
