Do you know who that guy was? I'd like to get another set.

Scooter I'd just be guessing now, but I'd have to guess around 1/4" thick. Like I said, they're like a foam/rubber so they weigh next to nothing. I would expect them to stay fairly rigid.

The denser the foam is, the more rigid it will be, however, no foam of that type will ever be so rigid that it will be difficult to bend, therefore, it's safe to buy the densest foam you can if you use that type.

Foam is typically rated by lbs . The higher the lb rating, the denser and heavier it will be . If there was a fairly close up shot of the edges of the foam, I may be able to tell fairly closely what density he used but that's not really necessary.

Even the densest foam will not hold the torque of a bolt or a screw, therefore, you will need a lock nut or Loctite etc to insure they don't loosen.

You can get foam at upholstery supply stores although some may not carry thin sheets, however, it's easy to find online.

One problem with this type of foam is that it can sometimes be slightly difficult to cut the edges straight unless one uses a foam saw, especially if the edges are angle cut . The edges on Fabios pieces look extremely nice from what I can tell.

I must say I was very pleased with the edges he put on there. If anyone on Bookface knows who this cat is kindly direct him this way, yes?

I know your pantie's will be wet so grab a towel fabiho...they are going in mail monday to your crib. He must have raised his price. I believe when i got my buddy a set, they were like $30-$35 each. That was shipped. Also there was no ebay fee's so that does make a difference.
