    vintage armstrong tires

I picked up a set of vintage armstrong tires. They have the new fast trekker pattern so we know where they came from. Years ago I had a set of armstrong turf tramers that looked just like itps.

I found them mounted on vintage itp steel rims. No dry rot, both holding air and very little wear on tires. Going to have rims reinforced on the edges and then powder coat them black. Next is a +2 swingarm. My 18" duro tires just did not slide like I hoped they would. Luckly a friend snagged them from me for his 400ex.

Ended up taking the rear from 49.50" to 48" which may help my rear end sliding anyway so more.
