Couldn't Find a replacement light surround plastic, so, fixed the old.... fixed the old gas tank too (didn't want plastic new one because i want to put decals back on) (gas tank just primed not painted yet in this picture)

This picture I actually need help with... got a new header pipe and heat shield... but when took the muffler off found this on the bottom side.... will need to replace it. Any suggestions on what to buy?

Very cool!! Keep the build pics coming.

Not many options for exhaust for 250sx that I aware, there may be slip on mufflers but I think I would just find an OEM on EBAY or post here in the classifieds.

Making some fast progress! I like the OEM exhaust personally vs aftermarket. I agree with mr clean the classifieds on here is a great place to look. I see SX parts all the time for sale. Keep us updated!

Lookin good, and keep the updates coming!
As far as aftermarket exhausts go, although hard to find now a days, I have a supertrapp on one of my Sx's.
Compared to my other SX with a stock pipe there is a big difference in both sound and performance.

Thanks guys... I will keep the pics coming. Time is against me (I know I am crazy, but I plan and hope to give this to my wife next Saturday on our family's big ride day we have planned) SO, I went ahead and bought the muffler that "redsox" suggested..... it it more than i wanted to pay, but, it is already in the mail and will be here Tuesday in time to get it installed. I think its it a good choice... and hey, I can always change it later if I want!

Got the new tires mounted today... holy crap the inside of the old ones were HORRIBLE. They were filled with who knows how many year's worth of fix-a-flat which had crusted them to the wheel..... the tires tore and ripped as the machine pulled them off and then the rubber had to be grinded off the wheel! BUT, the new tires are now successfully mounted!

And here she is.... complete and running strong! Took her out for the first ride last night and got a few pictures while still clean :-) Also made a nice 1080p Wallpaper if you would like it :-)
