honda 200es speedometer cable fitment. from other trikes, bikes, atv's

what other if any speedometer cables fit atc's? off other honda bikes, atv's etc or other brand ?

What I look for is the shortest cable length,,,, interestingly enough seams to be the hardest information to glean from a ebay add or other sources.
Out side the obvious end hook up, any length will work.
The cable I'm using on my 84 250r fork set up is a wee bit too long and kinda loops outwards.
I recall measuring my correct length 85 bigred 250es speedo cable @ 29 inchs. My buddy has just snapped her second cable so I to have been scouring ebay for the shortest length,,,, nothing yet.
I still have the broken cable + housing from her first broken cable that is stock ( it came off a bigred I had sold) ,,,, . I can do plastic + rubber parts but when it comes to metal I am not any good.
Anybody handy enough could have a small but nice "after market" buisness.

I run a ct110 cable on my bigred. It's about an inch too long but works fine. There are two different cable lengths for the ct110 so get the shortest one you can find.

John Im sorry, I think I have given you a bum steer! The cable I used on my big red is a CT90 trail cable which measures in at 660mm long. I was mixed up as I used the CT110x cable on my 350x. Sorry mate. Also just noticed that the cable in the picture of the listing has the wrong end on it for the speedo gear drive!?

Lol,,, from your information I did find a couple,,,, one being correct end + other with incorrect end

I put both in my ebay watch then next morning I hit the buy it now,,,, on wrong one
Seller was real good about the return so all good. Correct one (or close enough and brand new and reasonable ~ 11 dollars or there abouts)

what year of cable did you guys get for the ct90 i see different ones. and the ends do not look the same as the atc one but if it works i'm golden

This will definitely work better then "the too long" broken motorcycle cable my buddy has.
11 bucks, inch and a half longer then stock 250ES,,,,, perfect.

On the one I pictured above I put it on my buddys trike today. Install the drive gear end first and found the speedo drive end was 3/8ths. a inch too long to fit into speedo head properly.
Dremal cut it off 3/8ths. and ~ perfect fitment
