Update. Finally got some small heater hose in the mail. Pics of the radiator almost hooked up. I am going to weld up a stainless steel t fitting for the thermostat bypass ( blue hose), and replace the reducer with the tee, and just run 5/8 hose to the thermostat instead of 1/2". Which was real pain to get on anyways, and just clamp it down tight. Also going to make a bracket to tie the radiator into the gas tank fairing mounts. Wiring ran to the air box and cut a small slit in the top for the wiring to clear. Gonna seal it up with some silicone. Mounted my ignition. Probably gonna get crap from you guys on this one. I like how it turned out. Need to get my head light wired up. Was thinking about going to led. Not sure yet. Almost there.

The key doesn't look bad. Does this engine have a neutral indicator? Here's what I did for my project

Went to install my carb and carb intake boot. It doesn't quite fit. I'm gonna have to do a little grinding. Not much. Should be fine.

That's a sharp setup. For my 350x, my security is if they can't kick start it they can't ride it off lol.....I know two guys and a truck and it is gone.

Got my chain on today. Working on headlight wiring. Bought a new pigtail from O'Reillys. Now I can run the H4 9003 halogens without taking apart my oem wiring harness. I ordered a pair of cheap Chinese H4 led bulbs off ebay, I'll give those a try, if garbage I'm only out $4.20 for 2 bulbs.

Carb fit with some grinding of the upper shock mount. I have to take it back off, because the choke sticks. It's just barely catching on the shock mount.

This is coming together nicely-looks great.
Your carb is tight, may want to put hex head bolts/screws for the float bowl, i found out the hard way
Trying to get those little buggers out w/starter under it is not fun...

I'm sure it does. I still have to figure that out. Little more grinding done on the shock mount. Carb and new cable installed. TRX 450 billet thumb throttle and motion pro cable 02-0054. So when i got my new cable, it was about 6 inches shorter than my old throttle cable. My old one come to find out is off a TRX 250 quad. It had a 90 bend on it. They both worked for me.Click image for larger version.

Bought a cheap rear master cylinder off ebay, as mine is frozen up good. Ad said it fit 82 250r, and 200x. I figured it was worth a shot for $13.50. I did have to drill the mounting holes, and unhook the brake line from the stay brackets. My rear caliper works great. Now I just have to figure out how I'm going to attach a rear brake lever. I also remade my upper radiator bracket out of aluminum diamond plate, and attached my right side gas tank fairing. I had to do quite a bit of cutting to make that fit. Also forgot to add that I finally got my title through the DMV. I had lost my bill of sale, and had to show proof of ownership somehow. They had me fill out a Financial Interest in a Vehicle form. I had to give them receipts and such for items I had purchased and or any receipts for work/ maintanance done to the bike. Lucky I had kept all those receipts. No Vin inspection or anything. Got my title in less than a month. Pretty easy and hassle free process. The gal at the DMV was real helpful.

Quick tip...see if you can wire the headlights to the battery. They need some sort of diode/rectifier setup. I've done LED lights to a few projects and the AC power really chews the LED board the first time or two that you lean into it. Upper RPMs get to 18 and 20v AC. Maybe even try 24VDC LEDs.. They really don't like to flicker tho..

I have a rectifier, came with the harness. So I should be good there. I need to make a bracket to mount my solenoid. Waiting for a battery to show up in the mail. Then I can do some testing to see what wires go to my hi/low beams. I do have some extra wires, that I'm not exactly sure what they go to up there. Maybe speedo, turn signals, warning lights, etc. So I still need to figure that out. But I'm hoping to be able to start it up within a couple of weeks.

I was thinking the same thing if I couldn't free up my rear master..........saw the same one on ebay for $14. Looks nice how it lined up.

Better than that $95 one on ebay
