Thirty-eight last January. I still remember bringing home a "safety checklist" the school sent home in second grade concerning proper ATC operation (helmets, adult supervision, check throttle and brakes before riding, etc) in what must have been 85? I wanted a trike, and apparently my folks were about to get one when my aunt who's an X-ray tech and a worry wart talked them out of it. Got my first dirt bike at 14, and I finally bought my first trike at 18.

Everyone is telling stories but I'm not seeing pictures! This is me circa 1990's, at least IM wearing a helmet, so nobody can cry. I have a bunch more pictures with me as a kid on trikes and a few stories to go with. But that's for another time.
No childhood pictures from me because cameras hadn't been invented yet...
I was in the Army when the trike craze was in its heyday, and I never rode an atc until I was at a welcome home party in 1984. I promptly dismissed them after repeatedly running over my foot.
I have owned and ridden motorcycles for over 30 years, but the atc bug didn't infect me until about 6 years ago.
The trikes have a cool factor that can't be denied. Every visitor that sees my '84 lil Big Red usually asks if it runs (it runs well), if I want to sell it, or if I know that they are dangerous.
The answers I give are yes, HELL NO!, and yes, in that order.

Just turned 28 this year. Started out on my 1983 KLT200c about 10 years ago. The first trike I drove. I got hit with the bug hard.
Picked up a YT175 sometime after that, modded it, and rode the hell out of it. Picked up my Tecate near the End of my 175's life(needs a piston, bore, and crank is full of piston particles).
I've since had me a few machines in my hand. In this order i think. The most expensive was my 85 Tecate. $250+$50 in gas and a parts bike (2001 Ninja 250). No regrets!!

I thought I was towards the top as far as age goes. I guess a few older than me. I thought tripledog was a young pup or younger than me LOL.
