That is why you are going to go over EVERY SINGLE nut and bolt on your trike TWICE before you leave your house.

Coming from TX, I have no registration for my trikes.

When I go to CA to ride the dunes, I need to buy the out of state sticker.

    Summary:
tow rigs need a parking pass
ATVs need an OHV tag if not registered in your state

I buy them all early and have them mailed to me.
I ordered two OHV tags, but the email receipt says "SNOW-PARK Permit" A: I hope that' the same thing as I need to ride here and B: I hope it doesn't snow when I'm there. I guess I'll buy the parking pass then I enter CA.

Can anyone tell me if a spark arrestor is needed out there?

I thought I'd washed the trike pretty well after TF, but dang! There's still mud and sand packed into every nook and cranny on it!

No arrestor required that I am aware of, should not be an issue.

No spark arrestor on this bad boy and this is going on Bill Keister's 250r when he arrives.

Our convoy pulls out of my driveway at 5am on the 9th. Should pull in the sand around the same time on the 10th. We'll be there till probably the following Friday. Still kind of up in the air. Going to be a big year!!!!!!!!!!!

There is not an address if you will, more likely to get coordinates.....it is a big pile of sand dunes. Here is a good link to read up on.

Read through the link Mr Clean has posted along with "BLM" web site. Having read one of your other thread posts appears you'll be visiting the Imperial Sand Dunes next year during the spring, the north end of the dunes Glamis area has no riding restricted areas with easier parking camping pads right off the paved roads. Nothing like meeting fellow members and group rides, but the reality is you won't be disappointed when or wherever the visit happens.

Hey Hairy ......i got A-raab neighbors that still have their un-godly x-mas decorations up ......and it`s been raining 40 days and 40 nights .........those A-raabs are depreciating my overly appraised property values ......oh my.......are you bringing da `85 FL350 Odysses ......the most fun thing ever made ?

Glamy.....those are not the only people bringing the property value down....got a break in rain Monday and able to take down this years decorations. Yes the Odysses will be there, it serves two purposes one as a camp vehicle collecting fire wood and two used as counterbalance weight on my trailer. Trailer had been built to carry a small car when I worked out of town back then, dual axles set at 65/35 instead of common 55/45 ratio.
