Exhaust parts in. I welded the mount for the heat shield, painted and mounted.

A lot of heat shields over the years wear out the heat washer and tend to raddle obnoxiously. In my case it looked as if the threads started to back back out ever so slightly.

Letting them sit in wd40 for a couple nights helped me with one but the other broke off. So I just grounded the mount off carefully and reversed it and welded it back on. Then I used new bolts with a bigger head and installed after I painted. This one repair alone should make this 200 SO much more quieter.......as this was really loud before.

Everyone has their own recipe.........mine is POR 15 or PJ1.... in that order if I am using aerosol can finishes. It tends to last longer and goes on thicker for that powder coated look. Always "pickle" the metal if you can prior to painting.

The gas tank looks to have no rust anywhere.....and no dents. Will still clean it out of all that old gas smell and although the petcock seems clean enough if I have to replace it isn't very much. Once again the photos of the inspection camera don't tell the clear story that the screen tells but gives one a look anyways.

I thought you would be more of a KLT 110 or 250 guy?

Whats next, buying some fiberglass low pros and a big bore kit from Mickey?

Well, he was originally only asking $400.00 for it so for that price I would be more than happy to ride a "Honda....Makers Of The Second Most Powerful 3 Wheeler In The World!".

OMG...I think I just peed my pants!

Thanks Rob. Mine rattled obnoxiously loud. I have the Harbor Freight high definition camera. Not the cheapo cheapo one.......just the cheapo one. Half the quality of the Dewalt one at a quarter of the price. I bought mainly for gas tank inspections.

Speaking of eating out of house and home....where heading to your neck of the woods with family for some wine tasting and dinning today. Will probably spend $400 today on festivities and beef jerky. Half of us would be happy to chow down at Mad Madeline's but......you know the ladies.

The $400 budget was arbitrary. I figured since I was going to sell it for $400...and people who saw it were easily willing to pay $400 in its original condition....I thought my budget should be capped at $400 as well. So far I'm into my budget for $238.

Exhaust welded and installed. Tank buffed out and cleaned inside. Will wait till we return from Vegas to start the front.

    Thanks man.

Started it up and it is much quieter. So much so that I never remember hearing so much valve line noise.

Rode it up and down the street and everything checks out fine after a couple of heat cycles.
