Well well.... after 6 months.... I have realize one thing. These rebuilds don't happen over night! I have been working very hard (not NEAR as hard as the guys helping me, whom you will find out about in posts to come) on getting this Tri-Z pieced back together... and in the meantime I moved, sold a house, bought a new house, renovated it, and moved into it. SO, its been a crazy 6 months. But, I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel on this build.

I want to pull all my pictures together and do a really good start-to-finish build thread, but, for now I will leave you with this teaser....

^^^ 30 yrs of slapping the foot peg then dink the last sound you hear. There tuff to come by cheap I've seen them run $75 -$125 keep your eyes open. Do not hesitate if you come across one...lots of us looking as well

I got a set of them from Raffa... but unfortunately I got them after the powder coat was done, so, I think instead of making it ugly now, I am just going to wait until they break and then weld them on

Is that Mirror Orange powder coat I see? Best color a Z can be!

It is! Actually its called striker orange from Prismatic Powders.... basically the same thing.

And here is the "Franken Shock" ... big thanks to Jon McKane at SFR for this one. The frankenshock decal will be going on it as soon as its mounted up on the trike. Also in this picture is the T-Stat eliminator and an in-line water cooler.

I like it! What makes it a Franken shock? Is that just a name, or is it a hodge-podge of other shocks, built into one super-shock?

I see you mentioned a kick starter up above. You know about the 250sx kicker right? Get away from the Z kicker. SX bolts right on.

Yea the Frankenshock takes the best parts from Tri-Z, Warrior, and Banshee shocks and makes the best shock out of those parts. Also has gold valves and is set up for my weight
