This guy really think he has something.

There was a guy up here in my area posting on CL that he could build a custom swing arm for any bike or anything in any length that you want.

If i see it again i will PM you his phone number.

Arlan at LED can build you the expansion chamber of your dreams too.

That is Paul Proctor (manbearpig) on the boards here selling that swinger. That is a neat piece for sure and like he says in the description it will need to be cleaned up by a good welder. Not a bad price for what's there.

I saw that one. It looks a little bent at the shock mount from what I remember. Good to know it is from someone on here. For now I'll keep looking.

Purchased a used one off ebay. I'm gonna cut it apart. I have some 1"×2" tube steel and a welder already.

I got my donor swing arm today. I have looked over this thread many times. I would like to make it kind of like the west coast swinger. Just a bump. There is a guy on the AirFooler site that did custom extended swing arms for the 1st gen 250R's. Did a nice really nice job.
Haven't seen him active in awhile (sorry), but there are a few threads and lots of pictures of his set up and finished product. Might give some nice reference for a starting point.
Anyway, post how the finished product comes out!

Airfoolers has been down for quite a while. I believe the person you're talking about is Stroberts22. I think it was a dico copy?

It was Stroberts22! It looked like a West Coast copy, with a different style shock mount. I first saw it on a 250R Enginerd had built up. Had a thread showing the jig he made. Thanks for jogging my memory.
