    UPDATE!!

After watching a short clip on FB of a rider with the same idea...it looks as though the frame mount for the inlet pipe interferes with the swap. The rider in the vid cuts the frame mount tab off the frame and then it bolts up just fine. If my SX were a total beater...I would probably do the same but I'd like to keep all frame tabs intact. I think with the cutting and swapping of the original inlet pipe with the aftermarket ES muffler...I can have the best of both worlds.

So...... this concludes...an ES aftermarket muffler to SX swap is NOT a direct bolt on. Either cut the tab off the frame or cut and swap the inlet pipes.
