    YTM 200 tire size question.

First I want to say, I'm back baby! Second off I need a question answered. Why do I see some YTM 200 chain drives with 3 bolt hubs and 22x11x8s but mine has 25x12x9s and 4 bolt hubs. The fenders clearly state its supposed to have 25x12x9s.
1983 ATC 185s 200 jug bored .20 9.5:1 Naumura piston. Fast as ass when its not stretching the drive chain or stripping hubs.
1986 ATC 250ES. *Total garbage trying to sell it*
1983 YTM 200E. Runs good, forks are super bent but aside from that its mint.
1984 YTM 200L. Barn find, everything is mint except the bottom end is bad... *waiting on a new engine*

They came with both types. The 1983 K model had three bolt hubs and 8 inch rims. I'm not 100% certain, but I believe all the electric start models and shaft drive models that followed had the four bolt pattern. You can go to a Yamaha website and look on the parts fiche to double check which had what.
    It sucks to get old

My 200L has 25x12x9 which I found kinda weird. I know the shaft drives are 25x12x9

All years of chain drives had 22 inch tires with 3x100 bolt hubs
All years of shaft drive had 25 inch tires with 4x125 bolt hubs

does anyone know if the bigger, 4 bolt hubs will fit the axle on a 225?

Yes they will, along with raptor, banshee, blaster, Tri Z, grizzly, and possibly more hubs.

Thanks that's good to know! I have Blaster hubs on my 225 dxn now but the 4x100 bolt pattern makes it hard to find bigger rims and especially wheel spacers. It seems most rims that will take a 9" tire are 4x115 bolt pattern.

I bought a pair of Banshee hubs to put on the back of my 225dx/r. that way I can get spacers, but even better, I couls finally use the Banshee rims that A friend gave me back in the late 90's. They look a little funny being yellow. Eventually I'd like to get all three powdercoated blue.Click image for larger version.

My YTM 200 has 25x12x9 tires on it from factory. Im the second owner and it has the stock fenders on the back and the sticker says YTM-200 25x12x9 tires. They arent 200e fenders because they have small flaps and no holes for the rack. I did research and found canadian ytm 200s had 25x12x9.
