    Atc 70 no spark

I have been having problems with my pull start on my 70, the clip that holds it together came off and it came apart. I pulled it off and one of the three starter pegs was behind the flywheel. I got a flywheel puller and the peg was stuc to the magnet. Well it must have knocked the points out of time because now I have no fire. I took the flywheel back off and everything appears to be intact?
I searched the forum for no spark, but no one has had this type of problem? Any suggestions? I did replace the plug, but you get nothing no shock or spark at all.

Did you check your gap for the points?

Not yet, it worked and ran fine before the pull starter assembly came apart. I just wonder if that could be what messed up the points clearance?

Pull the plug out roll the motor over by hand and check that the points are opening. Then check they are set to proper clearance 0.014"-0.018" if my memory serves me correctly.
