    Kawasaki Tecate

Let's see your green (and red). There has been quite a bit of T3 talk lately, so let's see these babies. I'll start it off.

This is the only runner I have now (it's not in the collection below).
This pictures are from Imperial Invasion 2017. Dan (friend of Barton clan) took the pictures.
I rode it hard all week with only casualties being a couple of fouled plugs and a blown out Banshee shocks.

I have a project 84 in the yard but needs work and I've gotten lazy.
It's actually red. Covered in green paint that started bubbling off the tank on the way home but it ran.

This is the first runner I bought.
Bought in Corona CA on the way back to Austin from Sacramento.
It still pops up on TX or OK Craigslist now and then.
Would not mind having it back except it tried to rip the foot off a friend of mine.
    Only one with OEM plastics

The peak of my sickness. All four have moved on.
The picture is misleading. One is just a roller and the parts are scattered to the wind now.

I'm still trying to locate an 86 or 87 tecate roller. The only tecate on the Georgia Craigslist is an 85 and the retard wants $5500 for it(it's been on Craigslist for over a year).

Nice. How do you like those Duro tires? I've been thinking about getting a set but I'm worried they are a little too "flat track" for where I ride.

Mine is the white tecate. It's a mix of 84 and 85 parts. The green tecate was one that I gave to my brother and we got it running with spare parts.Click image for larger version.

i only have about an hour on them but so far I love them. Forward traction is awesome and they slide perfect. I plan on getting a set for my R as well!

Over the years I managed to collect one for each year, an 84, 85, 86, and 87. This past summer I torn down my 86 and powder coated the frame. My 84 is un-restored but still in great condition. My 85 is my most recent acquisition and completely stock. I'll try to find a picture of my 87.

    It is clean though!

Nice machines guys as well inspiration for me as i'm gearing up for a very nice build as soon as the house remodel is done.Just haven't decided what i want to build but an 86-87 tecate is definitely up for consideration!

Yah it is, but it's also $3300 over priced or roughly a 150% over value. For that reason alone I expect the guy will get tired babysitting a listing or he will drop the price in 2 years time. That is to say unless some sucker comes along.
